Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there... I'm Annie... aka Anabelle, Anushka, Annika, Ana, Ann... Those are all the names my foster mom calls me when she's being silly.
I was told that I was a stray, which I guess means I lived on the streets. Not an easy life let me tell you. Especially for a cute, loving, playful little girl like me. But one day I was found and the BREW people took one look and knew that they had to save me. I am irresistibly adorable if you don't mind me saying it. So... where was I? Oh yeah... the BREW people got me and took me to see a guy called Vet. I didn't enjoy that visit much but they said it was for my own good. After that they sent me to my foster parents' house and now I get nice food, a warm bed, tons of love, and I get to play with my foster fur brother too!!! My foster mom says that this is just a “halfway house” and that very soon I will find my furever family who will love me and take care of me for ever and ever. Doesn't that sound great?
So, here's what you need to know about me. I'm a very small girl, about 22 lbs. That guy Vet said that I'm about 3 years old but my foster family thinks I'm much younger because I am very puppyish.
I am a very playful girl. In fact, I have tons of energy and can play all day long so I need a home with another dog or with kids that will keep me occupied. A fenced yard would be a plus. I am afraid of loud noises/movements so the kids have to be a little older. I am also very skittish so you need to be patient with me, but once I know you're OK, I love you, love you, love you, and give you tons of kisses!!! I am very affectionate like that... Ask my foster daddy.... It took me exactly two seconds to wrap him around my little paw with my puppy kisses!
I sometimes try to chew on stuff that I'm not supposed to but if you say “no” I stop right away, especially if you give me a stuffed toy instead. My foster parents say that I'm starting to get that thing called “potty training”. My fur brother says that I just need to remember to “take care of business” outside and that's when I get treats. Not bad huh? It's just that sometimes I get so excited playing that I forget and... Oops! But I'm getting better and better every day.
I walk nice on a leash and also know how to potty while taking walks. I love walks! So many nice smells out there!!! I am also a little talkative sometimes so an apartment may not be the best place for me, unless your neighbors enjoy beagly serenades...
I am used to staying in a crate when my foster family is not home, but not more than a few hours. I need a little encouragement going in (like a yummy stuffed Kong) but once I'm there I go to sleep and keep my bed nice and dry.
So that's me in a nutshell but I am definitely much more than that. I promise that if you take me home with you, you will have my unconditional love forever! Did I tell you that I also have a big heart full of love to give? If you think I'm the right girl for you contact BREW right away. I'll be waiting for you... Love, Annie
