My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apply to Adopt Me!

Meet Miss Pearl! This one year-old, 26-lb. love bug is already well on her way to being the perfect companion. She’s practically potty trained with regular outdoor trips and is a gentle treat-taker who loves new toys. Pearl sleeps soundly through the night in her crate (and stays crated when her foster family is away), but she’s also a fantastic snuggle buddy who will stay close to her person all night. While leash walking is still a work in progress, Pearl’s foster dog friends are teaching her that walks can be fun. In the meantime, all her potty breaks take place in the fenced yard. She enjoys playing with the resident pups, who are under 3 years old and share her bursts of playful puppy energy, but she’s equally happy to be a couch potato in between naps. Pearl would thrive as either a solo dog or as a fur sibling to a playful pup who loves to nap and cuddle just as much. When Pearl first arrived at her foster home, she took a few days to warm up, but with each passing day, her confidence grew. By the end of her first week, she blossomed into a whole new pup! With a little patience and a gentle approach, Pearl will show you just how sweet and loving she truly is. Though she’s generally quiet, Pearl might bark once or twice when you come home or when guests arrive. But as soon as she sees it’s a friend, she’s back to her calm, quiet self, settling down with ease. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and feel your home is a great fit for Pearl, please send in an application and let us know more about your family.

More about this rescue

We are a small 501(c)3 dog rescue. We take owner surrenders and we pull from local shelters. We, like so many others, are just trying to make a difference.
