Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gizzy! He came to us after his owner passed away. His owner had been sick for awhile so he was kind of a mess when he was rescued. Gizzy is a sweet happy little guy, he's a 3-year-old Shih Tzu who weighs 16lbs. He was heartworm-positive when he came to us; he has been treated. He does well with grooming and will need to be groomed regularly. Gizzy likes kids and other dogs, we have not tested him with cats. This is what Gizzy's foster has to say about him:
Gizzy knows how to stay, sit, and come (but is a runner), and will fetch but for a short time. He loves sleeping in the bed and on the couch with you. He cuddles up right next to you all night and enjoys stealing socks. A bundle of joy.
Remember, adopting a dog means committing to them for life. You will also need to give him time to adjust to her new home and its expectations.
If you're interested in adopting Gizzy, please don't call. Instead, complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We carefully review the care history of past and current pets. Our goal is to find the very best homes for all our dogs and cats, so we reserve the right to approve or deny applications based on what's best for the pets.
