This is a message to the doggos looking for a friend to adopt!
I am Padfoot, and I am a very scared boy because some hoomans were not very kind to me in the past. What's that sound? Something fell and scared me. I came to this rescue at 2 years old and 37 lbs from some wonderful rescue partners in Alabama.
I met some kind hoomans as my first fosters. Good hoomans, they do exist! They tell me they think I am a mini Aussie and that I have the softest black and white coat with piercing blue eyes. My current hooman dad has been working with me for the past 5 months to get me to trust hoomans. I came in skiddish and scared of all hooman contact. As of now May, my dad has believed I have made strides. I lay with him and my three friends in a large bed. I like to jump on his hand when his alarm goes off to ask for pets and scratchies cause I know he is getting up to feed us. But when he stands up, I am still scared cause he is bigger than me.
I am house trained and crate trained (though the crate is not my favorite spot), and I can walk on a leash.
I am kind and gentle and just really love to play with all doggos. I will play with toys but not when you hoomans hold it. I have had a hard life and will take some time to trust hoomans again. I do not bite; I just curl up and lay there even if it's a gentle pet. I am a goodest boy.
I was given the name Padfoot aka Sirius Black because I have lived a misunderstood life with the wrong hoomans. Now I am looking for a new family that will show me love and affection for the remainder of my years.
