-Other dogs *Selectively*. Mable like some of us people prefers certain company and not so much others! She has a quirky play style that best matches confident, energetic and neutral(not too dominant or apprehensive) dogs and has done the best with males.

We try to make the process as smooth as possible and we want to set you and your new pet up for success. We always recommend doing a meet and greet with your dog before adding a new dog to your home and we are always happy to help with that.

We are a municipal shelter that takes in 2500-3000 animals a year. We are a small shelter with a dedicated team that works hard to keep the citizens and animals of Clay County safe and healthy. We rely on foster families and adopters to help us continue the work that we do.
