Brownie is your dream cat! He is all of these things and holds much love to share with the right home.
Now for his only quirk... (we all have at least one, right?) Brownie is very particular about his litter box, mainly that it has to be immaculate. This is most likely related to not having front claws (yes, he is a front paw declaw). Whoever declawed him set him up for his litter box issues which are easy to control if his litter box has a good litter, quality clay or his very favorite Slide, and it is kept clean with a twice daily scooping. You will make him very happy if it gets scooped three times a day!
Brownie is FIV positive...it was probably contracted during the time he was in survival mode on the streets. It is unknown why this lovable declawed cat would be out on his own trying to make his way through life. For more information on FIV please review this information
FIV Positive Cat Information
Brownie slid into his foster home with hardly the bat of the eye. He does great with the other cats, both male and female. The dogs, one weighing 120 lbs., are of no concern to him. In his multi month stay with another family following his rescue off the streets, he lived with a toddler who was kind and respectful, and he did well. Brownie craves much affection and petting and seeks out a lap. If you can promise to agree to diligently scoop his litter box, you just might deserve have him live with you!
Adoption Fee: $175 includes combo test (Neg/Pos), rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, neuter, dewormed, flea preventative and microchip registered to MCR.
Brownie is available for adoption within a 250 mile radius of zip code 25177 if the adopter willing to meet the transporter halfway; otherwise an $85 transport fee will be assessed.
