THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.
BUTTERS!
"7 out of the last 7 photos in my phone are of Butters."
"Mama, can we keep him?"
"I wish my belly was that cute when I run."
"Oh my goodness! His eyes are gorgeous!"
All the critics agree - Butters is awesome. This delightfully plump Maine Coon mix cat has had an adventure so far. Butters was adopted as a tiny kitten to be a buddy for a 5yo child They grew up together for 5 years. Until the family had a new baby and the house dog turned aggressive against Butters. Butters and the house dog fought to experience that new baby smell, and Butters lost. But that means you win! Butters came into the rescue for the opportunity for a new home where he won't live in fear of losing his tail to a possessive dog.
Butters is quite the character. He's a Monday Morning Quarterback (or male kitty Mean Girl) who likes the sound of his own voice. They say misery loves company, and Butters agrees. He loves to miaow and meow and yarl. He wants to give you his opinion about everything. This vocal cat loves the attention.
Butters thinks he's the alpha, but his Foster Mom doesn't think he actually likes the responsibility of being in charge. In reality , Butters just wants you to scoop him up like a baby and smother him in kisses while he pretends to struggle with you. He's an angry furball of fury when he gets a hold of catnip - just make sure he has a plush animal to chew on (ha!).
Butters is in foster care with a few foster brothers - a terrier mix dog who thinks he's a cat and another foster Maine Coon cat mix. Butters hissed and snarled at them all, and he picked a fight with the dog more than once. And he also snuggles with them both. In secret. Don't tell him that we have seen him burrow in the dog's crate at night.... shhh! Foster Mom says Butters can get along well with other animals if they're willing to let Butters decide when and how he wants to play.
Butters is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. This five-year-old cat loves laser pointers, feathers, strings, toy mice, and anything that wiggles. He's ready for a new lap to keep warm.
Butters adoption fee is $200.00.
