DOB: 3/17/22, currently intact, but will be spayed under our care.

Meet Daisy, a beautiful merle Great Dane with a heart full of love. This sweet girl is in search of a new home due to unforeseen health issues and life changes affecting her current owners.

Daisy will need some time to adjust to a new home as she hasn’t been socialized much and is very attached to her current owners. Patience and time will be key in helping her settle in. She is not a Dane that can just merge into any family, so we are seeking a no-kid home for her.

Daisy is good with other dogs, but slow introductions are needed to ensure she feels comfortable. She’s also good with cats!

Daisy is well-trained in the basics, including housebreaking, leash manners, and crate training. She is working on controlling her excitement, as she does tend to jump up on her favorite people, but this is a trait she is actively working to curb.

She’s got a big personality, and in the right home, she will truly SHINE!

To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.

To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.

We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity.
