Meet Louise!

Louise is a sweet and gentle soul with just the right amount of playful energy left in her! At 66 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion for an active family or individual. She adores running and playing in the yard but also loves snuggling up for some quiet time. Her happy moans for attention are sure to make you smile!

Louise has adapted wonderfully to living with other dogs—both large and small—and shows minimal interest in cats unless they dart by (even then, she’s never aggressive). While she hasn’t been around small children often, her energy and excitement to meet people make her best suited for families with older kids or adults.

A pro at car rides, Louise is a polite passenger who usually curls up to nap but likes to take in the sights during stop-and-go traffic. She’s also crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and hasn’t had a single accident in her foster home. With a bit more leash training to curb her curiosity for exploring, she’ll make an excellent walking buddy.

Louise eats well, maintains a healthy weight, and has shown no signs of food aggression. She enjoys chewing on toys but isn’t much of a fetch player—she’s more into soaking up the love and attention from her people.
