My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.

It is so hard for me to believe that MARTY and his brother Doc are still with me. They are wonderful boys to play with, very smart, easily trainable and well behaved. MARTY is a typical puppy, 5 months old, mixed breed puppy and weighing 25 pounds. I know they have some lab in them and will probably reach at least 40 pounds as adults.

These 2 brothers were found wondering a construction site in San Antonio, TX.

The smaller boy MARTY has some brown on his face and he is the more submissive one. Very gentle and kind-hearted. He loves to play and he sleeps right at my feet no matter where I am; in the recliner, on the couch or in bed. He likes to cozy up. He follows his brother around to a certain extent but they are NOT bonded, they can be adopted separately.

DOC is the other brother that is just a tad bit taller than MARTY. He is more outgoing and very social but a sweet puppy who is just a typical puppy who plays, eats, sleeps and plays some more. He can be found in the middle of the other foster puppies playing and running zoomies in the backyard.

Both boys are doing really well on their potty training. I am home most of the day and have time to let them out very often, but they are getting the hang of it.

THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.

If you are interested in adopting either of these boys please submit an application on the website below. More pictures are available once you email me. Thank you.

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED

Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.

We transport across the United States.

Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.

More about this rescue

We are a home based foster rescue organization, we do not have a shelter. All of our dogs are in private foster homes where they are healthy and socially active. We are better able to explain their personality and behavior.
We rescue dogs from the streets of San Antonio, Texas who have been dumped and abandoned as well as pull them from our very high kill city shelter. We also rescue dogs from surrounding counties and take owner surrenders.
We rescue dogs because of the passion in our hearts to help the voiceless when they need help the most. We are rewarded with great, happy and grateful dogs.
