Friend! Thanks for stopping by, I sure love visitors and can't wait to tell you all about my favorite thing...ME! I am a sweet, young boxer mix who was picked up as a stray at around 6 months old. My rescuers suspect the "family" I had before dropped me off there. I was rescued at around 6 months old and have been in a foster home for about 6 months, so that means I recently celebrated my first birthday without a family of my own. My human friends tell me it's not my fault but say that I have what they call "black dog syndrome" and that's why no one wants to adopt me. While I'm waiting for my family to find me, I have been enjoying life as a foster dog. I love my foster family, and I love to play with the dogs who already lived in the home. It takes me just a bit to warm up to new people; after all, I was tossed out like trash before so am nervous of that happening again. My ideal home would have another playful dog for me to learn house rules from. I am crate and house trained. Pretty much the perfect package here. Please consider applying to adopt me; I would really love a family to call my own!
All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
