Woof! I'm Georgie and boy, do I have a tail to wag! I'm a lovable grey pup with an adorable underbite that'll make you smile every time you see me. Life wasn't always easy for this pup, but I'm ready to start a new adventure with you!I was wandering the streets of Chicago when some kind humans found me. My eyes hurt a lot because of something called bilateral entropion, but don't worry! The amazing folks at C.A.R.E. fixed me up right away. Now I can see everything clearly, and let me tell you, the world is beautiful!

People are my absolute favorite! I love making new friends, and I'm great with kids too. Got a family? Perfect! I'll fit right in with my gentle nature and endless patience. Cuddles, belly rubs, and playtime are at the top of my wishlist. While I'm a social butterfly with humans, I prefer to be the only four-legged friend in the house. That way, I can give you all my love without any distractions!

Even though my past was a bit ruff, I'm all about looking forward now. I'm ready to fill your home with wagging tails, sloppy kisses, and lots of love. So, what do you say? Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
