MEET BEAU #8!!

Beau is all puppy! He is loving, sweet and energetic. He gets excited with new environments, but once familiar with a new environment, he becomes more calm. He enjoys going to the dog park to play fetch and make new friends. Initially he struggled with a little bit of separation anxiety, but he has since been put on Prozac once a day and a huge improvement has been made. Beau is home alone for 9 hours straight, free roaming the house without any accidents and no destructive behaviors as long as shoes and other items are put out of reach.

He is house trained and crate trained. He enjoys going for walks and has done well with meeting both big and small dogs. He is currently living with two cats who he is patient with--no chasing or tormenting. He will come with a crate, harness, leash, food, meds, shampoo and any other items to help. Beau needs a loving forever home that will keep him active, healthy and give him all the bones or Kong toys he deserves.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
