My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pam was brought into the shelter as a stray. She cones from a local area that is over run by cats so we are working on fixing all the kitties in that colony. Pam is a very sweet girl and learning that humane touch feels real good.
Pam actually got loose from the shelter back in May and was never seen again until 5 months later. She came up to the porch looking for food and we later trapped her. She is now back with us and is enjoying a warm bed and a full meal. She is a bit nicer this time around and more thankful. She will be spayed soon.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
