Say hello to Sissy, a sweet-natured and slightly shy 7-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, looking for a forever home where she can bask in love and comfort. Sissy has a gentle soul and, while she may be a bit reserved at first, she warms up to kindness and patience. She's the perfect companion for cozy evenings and peaceful walks.
Due to her environmental and seasonal allergies, as well as food sensitivities, Sissy is on a special diet that helps keep her feeling her best. Her new family will need to continue this regimen to ensure she remains happy and healthy.
Sissy would thrive in a calm and stable environment, ideally with someone who understands the needs of a sensitive dog. She might need a little extra time to adjust, but with gentle encouragement, she'll soon find her confidence.
If you have room in your heart and home for this beautiful soul, come meet Sissy! She's ready to give all her love to a family that can offer her the gentle care she deserves.
Stop in and meet Sissy in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.
Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
