Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goose is about two years old and she’s a tiny little girl. She’d spent most of her life with a young man who adored her, and we're sure the feeling was mutual. She was very sad when her young man experienced a lot of changes in his life, and just couldn’t keep her. And so she came to Safe Haven to find a new forever home.
Goose has big round eyes and a pink nose with a little brown spot on one side. If she was a female person, we’d call that a beauty mark. There probably isn't an equivalent term in Cat!
There are two things that Goose doesn’t like: dogs and change. She's been through a lot of change in her short life. She had just become adjusted to her temporary home in our Quarantine area, where all new cats spend their first two weeks so that we can make sure they are healthy, have all their necessary vet services and are ready for adoption. And then she was moved into one of the adult playrooms, which was another change. But now she's adjusted, and when people come to visit and call her name, she’ll come out and greet them. She especially likes being cuddled and petted and talked to softly. In her previous home she was very affectionate and friendly, and we expect that in a quiet loving home, she will blossom!
So if you’d like to come meet Goose, just give the shelter a call and make an appointment. She’ll be here! And if you want to give her what she wants most – a new family all to herself - she will be one happy little cat!
