For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Sprockett and Tucker are two almost identical brothers who were adopted from us as kittens in 2011. They grew into very large, handsome cats, and have had a great life together. Sadly, their human dad passed away recently, and their mom had to give up her home and move in with family. Unfortunately, there was no room for the cats. Their mom was heartbroken to lose her “boys” - she said they were the sweetest cats she’d ever had.
While they initially grieved the loss of their people, they have now adjusted. They are, and always have been, kind, gentle giants! These friendly, personable felines are very attached to each other. Although they have their own spaces, most of the time visitors will find them stretched out together, especially when the weather cooperates and their catio is nice and warm.

Prospective adopters meet with our Shelter Manager to determine an appropriate match for our animals. The adopters sign an adoption contract that identifies the condition of the animal, approximate age, any health issues, and conditions of adoption (e.g. indoor only, no declawing, etc). Adoption fee is $150.00 for kittens, and $85.00 for young, adult and senior kitties.
PFOA prefers to adopt to homes on the North Olympic Peninsula, but we do make (lots of) exceptions. Please call (360) 452-0414 to learn more about this kitty. A staff member will return your call.
All PFOA animals are vet-checked, current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and combo tested for FIV / FeLV.
