Here's what the humans have to say about me:
No Phone Calls. If you are interested in adopting this very friendly Cocker girl, please go to charlottecockerrescue.org to download and save our application. Fill it out and email it back to us to be approved. We will review it and return calls.
Meet Teenie, an 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel girl. She is a retired breeder dog that has not had much attention or love. She came in with another girl breeder dog and we found out that the owners lied to us when we took them to our vet for their evaluation appointment. Both girls came here with major mammary masses requiring extensive radical mastectomies. First surgery was done on Teenie to remove tumors After a 2-month recovery time to heal the rest of the mammary chin was removed. Tumor biopsy from first surgery came back as benign. This second surgery included spay.
The ideal home for this cocker girl must be willing to house train, teach her to walk on a leash and you must have a secure fenced yard. We have no past history of how she does with big dogs, cats or children. Patience and understanding will be a plus to help her thrive as a house dog in a home environment. She is friendly, easy going, good with other dogs her size and she is a calm girl. She is so sweet and craves attention and love. She is a very sweet dog, gets along well with other dogs and is doing well in her foster home.
Adoption fee will be $400 when she is ready to find her new home.
