Meet Yuki, a resilient and affectionate cat around three to four years old, seeking a loving forever home. Despite a tough start, Yuki's spirit shines through her sweet and social nature. She thrives on human companionship, eagerly greeting visitors with leg rubs and enjoying cuddle sessions, particularly when lounging on chests at bedtime. Yuki's ideal home is one where she can be the sole pet, as she's shown discomfort around other cats. While she may have her boundaries, with the right understanding and patience, Yuki promises to be a delightful companion, enjoying sunbathing, toy play, and cozy spots like her beloved cat donut.
Prospective adopters should be experienced with cats and willing to provide the special care Yuki needs, including routine dental check-ups due to past neglect. She's adapted well to new environments and has a preference for a wet food diet due to dental issues. Treats like Temptations and Churus are her favorites, adding to her charm. If you're ready to give Yuki the loving home she deserves, filled with patience, understanding, and plenty of affection, she'll reward you with endless love and companionship.

More about this shelter
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome over 6000 pets each year. Every dog or cat leaves our shelter spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of over 96%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, transfer, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
