Oscar!

Oscar was found wandering the streets of an Eastpoint neighborhood by one of his "mommies" who is known for helping dogs in need. She recruited a few ladies from her neighborhood, and me, to try to help him. We managed to coral him into a fenced in yard of a neighbor so he would be safe. We gave him some food and water, shelter, and ongoing vet care. We got him the biggest kennel we could find and set him up in his original mommy's backyard. Even built him a custom doghouse! Don't worry, his mommy brings him in her house on cold nights. We've been doing as much as we can for him the past year and a half but we both have full-time jobs, dogs of our own, and family members to take care of. All the rescue organizations we've contacted are full. He is such a love bug, crate trained, house trained, and not aggressive. He loves other dogs, but he does play rough, so he would need another dog that can match his energy and size, and an owner with experience in socializing dogs.
