My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Raine. This sweet, affectionate dog is looking for her forever home.
She is like a shadow at times, following you around, making sure she knows what you are up to. She also enjoys curling up by your feet and just being close. She is both house and kennel trained, appears to do well with dogs, and has showed no interest around cats thus far.
She enjoys chew toys, and toys that are easily shred apart. She can still be nervous at times, so a patient and quiet home would be best while she works on her confidence.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
