Darcy is a delightful 2-year-old, 40-pound Boxer-Staffy mix who has become a beloved resident at Hill Country SPCA. With a friendly disposition that ensures she never meets a stranger, it's hard to understand why this beautiful girl has not yet found her forever home. Her passion for toys is unmatched, providing hours of fun as she plays. Darcy is also fantastic with other dogs and kids, making her a great addition to any family. She knows basic commands and always keeps her kennel clean. Originally found as a heavily pregnant stray, all of her puppies have successfully been adopted, leaving Darcy still seeking the love she deserves. Let's work together to find her a family before the holidays arrive!

Additional adoption info

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

Go meet their pets

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
