Gala will be flown to JFK on May 14th and can meet his approved, adoptive family that day. Apply now!

Gala is a chi-mix male that is estimated to have been born on January 30th, 2024. He was found abandoned in the jungle of Puerto Rico and some good friends of the Puerto Rico Dog Fund (PRDF) found him and his littermates and rescued them all. Gala was terrified and starving; he had a curable case of skin mange (often found in strays), but was very malnourished and needed love.

Gala has made such great progress... he is a new pup! He has learned that not all humans are cruel and treat him like garbage to be tossed; humans can be loving, soft to cuddle, and fun to play with. He is VERY energetic and loves to run with the other cats and dogs in the home. He gets along with everyone! He has great markings to ensure he is also cute as a button. He's up to date on all his vaccines (including rabies), but will need to be sterilized at approx. 6 months of age (adopter responsibility), he's also potty trained.
