Willie is approximately 8 months old (estimated date of birth 9-1-23). He and his brother Bruce are very shy but warm up once they get to know you. They would do best in a home with adults or with older children. They are very sweet cats who could go home together or as a pair.
Their foster mom says, "Bruce, solid gray, has the most intense eyes that take in everything. He loves to climb and has proven he can get to the top of my 6' bookshelf going after the treats that were kept there. Not a fussy eater when it is dry food, but only seems to like salmon pate as can food. When he "loves", he sits in my arms and purrs so loud I think you can hear him outside the room. I've never introduced them to my other cats but they do play 'footsie' under the door. Willie is gray and white. He is more out going than his brother .. loves to cuddle, give kisses, and has a quirky way of angling his head making you wonder what kind of trouble he is thinking about getting into. Haven't found any food he won't eat and definitely has a couple pounds on his brother Bruce. These boys need a forever home where they will be loved and have more freedom of movement than I can offer. They have never been around children or dogs so not sure how they would react."

We do not allow cats to be adopted that will be declawed, or outdoor cats. All pets are fixed, microchipped and have shots prior to go home. On some occasions we may let a cat go home if it's too young to be fixed if the adopter is a previous adopter and we have an appointment set for them to bring to the vet for the sterilization with follow-up. Also we do not adopt out single kittens unless they have another cat in the home. Otherwise we require them to take two.

Our mission is to foster community welfare and improvement through protecting the quality of lives for feral and free roaming cats. Sioux Empire TNR works with compassionate community volunteers, local government officials, and companion animal rescues to utilize humane population control of unaltered, free-roaming, feral, and/or abandoned domestic cats in our area through education and the use of Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR).
