Twig was brought in by his previous owner on May 5, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Get ready to fall in love with this adorable pair of guinea pigs! Twig and Mr. Rhombus are inseparable best friends who are searching for a home together. While they might start off a bit shy and reserved, they have the sweetest personalities just waiting to shine. Once they get comfortable, you'll see just how affectionate and fun-loving they can be!

Twig and Mr. Rhombus are known for their endearing antics, including their favorite pastime of munching on their favorite treats. They have a playful side too and love exploring their space, so they need a roomy setup with plenty of ground space - ideally 10+ square feet-so they can run, frolic, and snuggle to their hearts' content.

If you're ready to welcome this delightful duo into your home, come visit us and see Twig and Mr. Rhombus for yourself. They're sure to steal your heart with their charming personalities!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
