Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
These 2 sweet girls were brought to Toronto Animal Services as strays and went to a loving foster home for enrichment and TLC and have since been returned to now find their forever home!!
Guinea pigs make lovely starter pets, if you have the time and energy for their care. They love their daily greens, the occasional nibble of apple, and a steady, never-ending supply of hay. With the right socialization and handling they can become quite comfortable and affectionate around people. They should have time each day to come out of their cage to explore and bond with their human. Pet safe chew toys will help in keeping their ever-growing teeth a good length. These beautiful girls will need extra love and affection to help them come out of their shell!!
If you are interested in adopting a guinea pig, please call us at the North Animal Shelter at 416-338-PAWS (7297) between 10:30am-6:30pm, and staff can talk to you further about the adoption process.
Thanks for considering one of our adoption pets!
Please meet May May and Opal!
