Rusty is a dog with quite the typical hound personality. He loves to be outside, and bark at all the things! He loves going for car rides, lounging in the sun, and loves having some other dogs to cuddle up with. (As long as he is properly introduced) He has adorable, floppy ears, and deep brown eyes, and just the softest coat, and little beagle wrinkles! He has a bit of resource guarding when it comes to food and toys, that he could use some extra training with and he seems to have some separation anxiety if he is away from his humans, really exposing that long hound howl! He is potty trained, neutered and UTD on vaccines! He's very good on a leash, pulls a bit until he's done is business and then happy to stroll and sniff - he has a great nose! He know sit and shakes and likes to play fetch. He is a good runner, and will run back and forth and all around with another dog if given the chance. He would benefit in a home with another dog, to help guide him, and seems to not mind cats, and seems to keep his distance. If he likes you, he will even give you a hug and rest his head on your chest. (insert a happy/crying emoji here)

All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
