Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT RESCUER:
Peaches is a beautiful, kind, sweet girl who has it way too rough her first few years. She was bounced around after being trapped and fixed and has never had a real chance to “settle”. Her last “owner” decided she didn’t want her anymore and dumped her outside, which she wasn’t used to. She cried at the door all night long and was lucky she didn’t attract coyotes in the area and become dinner. She was confused, lost and scared! The girl’s aunt found out about it and she was always an avid TNR advocate. She scooped up little Peaches and took her in.
The story would be wonderful if she could have 2 kitties in her apartment, but she is only allowed one. She currently has a senior kitty who is not super crazy about Peaches (who is young and wants to play sometimes). This wonderful woman took her in and is afraid of getting evicted. We are trying to help her find a wonderful home for Peaches, so she can settle in, feel love and safe with no uncertain future or threat of being thrown out again. We are trying to keep her in her comfortable environment as long as we can without uprooting her again to be in a temporary environment and then moved for her final spot. Her wellness is our utmost and primary concern!
Peaches loves other kitties and would do well with a calm, mild-mannered male kitty and calm, cat-experienced kids. She doesn’t like loud noises, fast movement or chaos, understandably! She would do well with people who work from home and have a semi-quiet household.
