My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sanibel- This sleek, great looking feline with the bright, golden eyes and rich black coat is waiting for someone to take him home and love him forever! He is a gentle natured kitty that enjoys spending time on the screened in area where he can watch everything going on. He also enjoys affection and attention from all, including strangers. He gets along great with all the other cats in his house and would certainly not mind having another cat or two as companions.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this great looking kitty? Then come and see for yourself what a terrific addition Sanibel would make to almost any home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
