Update 7-21-10: Charlie, a toy poodle,
have been in a new foster home for a couple of weeks and are doing
great. Missy a Boston Terrier came in with him but has just been adopted. He is about 6 years old and spent all of his life in a loving home with elderly owners. Unfortunately, both owners passed away and Missy and
Charlie found themselves homeless. Chalrlie is dedicated completely to his people and is a cuddle bugs. It
is apparent that they were used to being the center of attention and being right in the ,middle of everyday life in a home. Charlie
want to sleep on the bed at night and makes sure he is next to you
on the couch while watching TV. He loves to run around in the back
yard checking out the exterior world. Charlie was the leader of
the pair and definitely is the welcome wagon of the pair. Since he is
so smart, he occasionally needs to be reminded that he is not the king
of the world. Charlie is housebroken (never had an accident in the
house while in RED foster care) and can be left alone without fear of chewed shoes or shredded
toilet paper. He has super house manners. He rides well in the car but they are still learning
what a leash is. He will bark briefly when he sees someone out the
window but are quick to hush when told to. He get along with
other dogs after a supervised introduction. This is great little
dog would do wonderfully in a quiet home with savvy and dedicate dog parents.
Charlie will soak up love and attention and he will give his unqualified
devotion to the lucky people who give him a safe place to land.
