My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cadbury, the sweetest black, tan, and white pup you'll ever meet! This adorable bundle of fur was found in the middle of the road alongside his five siblings, but don't let his rough start fool you—Cadbury's heart is full of love and affection waiting to be shared with his forever family.

Cadbury is a true sweetheart who adores the company of his people. He's a champion cuddler, always ready to snuggle up for some quality bonding time. But don't think he's all about lounging around—he's also an enthusiastic explorer who loves nothing more than romping around outdoors, taking in all the sights and smells the world has to offer.

While Cadbury gets along well with other animals, his true passion lies in the companionship of his human friends. Whether it's sharing a cozy cuddle on the couch or embarking on a fun-filled adventure outdoors, Cadbury is happiest when he's by your side, showering you with love and affection.

If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to brighten your days, look no further than Cadbury. Come meet this precious pup and discover the joy he brings to every moment. Adopt Cadbury today and make your home complete with his boundless love and irresistible charm!

Additional adoption info

Who says you can't buy love? Our adoption rates say different. Our adoption fee covers the pet's spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worm testing, and worming. We require interested parties to complete our adoption application with veterinarian and personal references. If approved we will work with you to schedule a meeting with the pet, and if you decide to adopt, our contract is the last step. We do not adopt to homes with intact pets or to people under 21 years of age.

Go meet their pets

All our adoptable pets are in foster homes where we socialize them with people and other animals. Along with adoption events we are an agency partner with the PetSmart store in Spring Hill, TN, in The Crossings shopping center as well as PetSense in Columbia, TN. Our cats can be seen during store hours in the Cat Adoption Room. Due to Covid, store times vary so please contact the store prior to your visit to see what we have available. If you are interested in meeting one of our furbabies, simply contact us, and we will work with you to schedule a meeting. Since we are an all-volunteer rescue, please be patient, as it may take up to 72 hours for a response. Thank you!

More about this rescue

We believe that pets are family members who fill our lives with joy and meaning. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue group that strives to make a difference in the lives of animals within our rural community in south central Tennessee. Through our Spay/Neuter Program for Giles County residents we know that the result will be a huge reduction in the amount of unwanted cats and dogs in our County.

Rescues exist because of the overpopulation of cats and dogs. About 2.4 million healthy, adoptable cats and dogs are put down in U.S. shelters each year. Often these animals are the offspring of cherished family pets. Spay/Neuter is a proven way to reduce pet overpopulation, ensuring that every pet has a family to love them.

The Giles County Humane Association lends a voice to those animals who cannot speak for themselves.
