(03/26/2022) Miss Paisley is the sweetest gem you'll ever meet! With her loving nature and silly personality, she's sure to melt your heart. Low energy, snuggle bug is the best way to describe Paisley!

Miss Paisley can fit right into any kind of household, whether she's the only pup or part of a fun pack of dogs! She prefers mid to large size dogs like herself. (No small dogs or cats for her). She's a pro at crate and house training, and her enthusiasm for treats knows no bounds. While she enjoys leisurely exploring in a fenced yard, road trips aren't really her thing. So, if you're a homebody looking for the perfect companion, Miss Paisley is your girl! She's not overly energetic, but she has her spontaneous zoomie moments that will keep you entertained. She's hoping for a family without young kids, but older children are just her cup of tea. So, if you're ready for some sweet, silly, and snuggle-filled adventures, Miss Paisley is waiting to brighten up your life!

1. Review the description of the pet you are interested in to make sure that the information we have fits with your particular needs and desires. In most cases, the information on the website is current and gives the information that we have about the particular pet. The picture of the pet does not tell the whole story.

2. Complete the adoption application. Please make sure that you give us as much information about yourself as you can. List all animals currently living with you including other dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. The application needs to be complete in order to help us determine if the pet you have chosen is a good match for your home. http://pawsforlifenc.org/pet-adoptions/apply-for-adoption/

3. Once the application is submitted we will contact you, your references, and your vet.

4. We require a home visit prior to dog adoptions.

5. If more than one person applies, we will go with the BEST fit. If all things are equal, we go in the order the applications were received.

6. Once the home visit has been completed, you will be asked to complete an adoption agreement.

7. An adoption fee of $275 for dogs under 6 months $250 for 6 months and older and $95 for cats, Senior Cats $50. This fee helps us to provide the necessary medical care and other needs for the pets while in foster care.

8. All Paws For Life pets are spayed or neutered if old enough, current on shots, micro chipped, and to our knowledge, in good health before they are adopted out. Puppies under 6 months of age will require a $100 spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee and a special puppy spay/neuter agreement. We are all volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for our work with the pets. The adoption fee is used to help defray costs in the rescue and care of the pets.

Paws for Life NC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue formed in 2002 to help solve the problem of homeless dogs and cats in Franklin, Granville, and Northern Wake Counties, NC.

Our rescue focuses on four area of need in the community. We provide foster homes for cats and dogs. We offer vouchers for low-cost spay and neuter. We assist community/feral cat through our "Cats for Hire" barn placement program.
