My name is Kimu-DE!

Kimu is a very handsome white and black 2-3 year old male Pekingese that was surrendered to a city shelter by his owners because they could no longer afford to keep him. Poor Kimu was bitten by another dog last year and had to have his left eye removed. The surgery went well, but the area has sometimes filled up with air so appeared puffy, but doesn't seem to bother him. Kimu has always lived with other dogs and likes them, but he does have a blind side to be aware of so as not to startle him.



Kimu is really friendly and, even if he acts shy at first, warms up quickly. He likes being handled and petted. Kimu is super cute when he naps because he sleeps on his back with his ears thrown back and his back feet in the air - it's quite endearing!



Kimu is being fostered in Millsboro, DE and his asking adoption fee is $285.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
