Fitz!

Fitz is an adorable 1-year-old, 10-pound, deep gray with white, Terrier /Mystery Mix. He has an easy-care scruffy coat. He LOVES toys and will make a game of playing with anything he can find. Please have lots of toys! He loves to play with any other playful dog. He is a puppy and is mouthy so please no young children in the home. Fitz came to us from Stanislaus County Animal Services. He was part of 87 dogs seized from a hoarding case. He spent his life in filth and darkness. Many of the dogs were living under the floor boards. How he can be so sweet and loving has us STUMPED! He is a little shy but once he gets to know you, he will beg for love and attention. He will need leash training. He will need a little more house training, though he is doing well here at the sanctuary. He follows the other dogs outside as a group with the command “go potty” and happily does his business. Can you give him the time he needs to adjust to a normal home live? He is well worth the effort. He is a DARLING boy. He has been neutered. He is microchipped and currently vaccinated. What is included

In adoption fee for dogs

Spayed or neutered.



Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv – Vaccination against canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. (3 to 4 depending on how long we have them)



Rabies vaccination (if old enough).



De-wormed, Front-lined and Micro-chipped.



A free baby-well exam certificate that most vets will honor.



One week of dry dog or cat food.



One toy and one blanket.

1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.



2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
