Description:

David Copperfield is a former colony kitty and still getting used to being indoors. He's gotten used to having food and water readily available but still needs help adjusting to other things. He loves to hide and is a master at it. He likes dark low places like under a bed or behind a desk so he can see what is going on but he can't be seen. David Copperfield will need someone who is very patient and will give him time to get comfortable. He will need some coaxing to get him but then when he lets you pet him he will start to purr. He likes to play with his buddy, Kim Possible as well as with toys and tunnels. He is sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. He can play a little rough so if he has a playmate in his new home that would be great.

Meet the Pet

Once approved, a meet 'n' greet will be scheduled.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet 'n' greet is a match, the contract will be completed and adoption fee will need to be remitted.

Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
