Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Joe Joe here. As you may recall, I was surrendered in May `24 along with my siblings. While none of us were known for our extroverted personalities, I was the shyest in the bunch. I`ve been moved around from one foster home to Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe and to a new foster home in an attempt to find my favorite place to stay. My latest foster mom reported the following results to the interviewer lady. Joe is doing okay, but he is still very shy. He runs and hides when I walk around my apartment. If I sit quietly, making no demands of him, he will suddenly appear and evaluate the situation. Cautious is Joe`s middle name. However, at night, he is a totally different cat! When I am in bed, he will hop up for some pets and commence making a TON of biscuits on the blanket. He even likes to sleep at the end of the bed! Go figure? My foster mom thinks I am a great cat, and she`s seen how my unique personality shines through. It will be a lengthy process for me to feel totally comfortable, but I`m worth the wait. I am 4-years, and 8-months-old, neutered, litterbox trained, and have always lived with cats and kids. My coat is incredibly soft, and I enjoy a good petting session when I feel brave. If you`re a patient and understanding family, I could be the perfect fit for you. 1-21-25

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
