If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.
Stamina is about 5 years old as of February 2024. He found his way into a trap during a trap neuter return project, and was in need of medical attention. While receiving vetting and medical treatment, he showed signs of sweetness to his caregivers and they have been working with him to adjust to the inside life. He's come a long way and is accepting pets, playing yet is not a lap cat. He is FIV positive yet that is no reason for concern since he likes other cats and is sharing space with some with no issues. Stamina will need a home where he can have a segregated room and time to adjust and be brave. With patience and time, he will be a great companion! Adopt him today! Approved applications will be contacted within 48 hours.
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) | Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:
While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat. Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
