Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Toothless! I'm available for adoption as a bonded pair with my friend/sibling, Calliope! Please read the questions and answers about us both to learn more. If we sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet us!
** I'm a volunteer favorite and here's why: "He is a friendly, shy, curious cat." "He is a poly foot cat (he has 5 toe beans on one paw). Loves pets and playing. Very friendly cat. Also he is a black cat which, in some beliefs, means they are good luck or can protect your house from evil spirits." **
Do you like other cats? I love my friend/sibling, Calliope and need to go home with them! We have only lived with each other but may get along with a new feline companion after a slow, thorough introduction process.
What do you think about living with a dog? We have previously lived with dogs and go along with them. We may do well with a new canine companion after a slow, thorough introduction process.
How do you feel about kids? We may do better in a more calm, quiet household. We may do well with older, cat-savvy children.
What was your previous home like? One where we were well loved and cared for. We previously lived in a mostly indoor environment but would be able to go outside some of the time.
What's your ideal home like? One where Calliope and I can be together and receive the love and affection we desire. We would do well in an indoor only home environment but did enjoy some supervised outdoor time if your home has a enclosed outdoor space.
Is there anything else we should know about you? I need to go home with Calliope! I have extra toes on my front feet!

More about this shelter
Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.
Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.
Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
