What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is Tilly (Chantilly), She is about a 2yo heeler mix. We adopted her from our local shelter in December, and she did well for about a month before we started having significant issues with one of our other dogs.
She is very energetic and active, and would do well with someone who is very active (runner or cyclist) or who can otherwise give her a good outlet. Her best situation for now would probably be as an only dog, or with only dogs around her own age and size. I would recommend no other small animals or any reactive animals. Not sure about cats, since we dont have one, but she seems a bit too uncomfortably interested in our rabbit...
Tilly is very gentle with treats, and overall great with humans, including kids. She will probably do better with older kids, because she does need ongoing training not to jump. We are working on calming techniques and general training.
