My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Newtons owner could no longer care for him or his brother Niblick, so they came to us. He is use to a somewhat quieter household with a retired person. Newton is a loving companion who slept in the bed with his mom. Young children wouldn't be a great idea as he isn't use to it, but older children should be fine. Newton was trustworthy loose inside previous home. He is diabetic so insulin shot is given AM and PM, but it's very simple to do and he is very use to the shots. He is eating WD food at this time. If you have a heart for special needs sweeties, look no further. He will love you forever. Neuter, vaccines, microchip provided. 7 yrs. 23lb

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
