Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Denali is the last of our "National Park" themed litter, and is patiently waiting for his forever family! He is up to date on vaccinations, very healthy, and was just neutered at the end of August. He was born on March 11 and surrendered - with his five siblings and their mama - to our rescue at five days old, when their owner could not keep them. Denali's mama is sweet, fantastic, and was very devoted to loving and playing with her brood. She was around 28 pounds, and it is rumored that the dad of these pups was a larger dog. Denali is currently about 30 pounds.
Denali is playful, curious, and loves to be by people. He is living with kids and other dogs in his foster home, and will love to continue his socializing with other dogs with either a sibling in his forever home, or through other socialization opportunities. In his foster home, he has been exposed to only positive experience and love, so he is a joyful, trusting pup. As he is a young puppy, Denali requires an adopter with a flexible schedule to continue his house training and learning. Per our contract, he will also need to attend positive reinforcement based puppy socialization classes.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
