This cute mare is Jazzy! Jazzy was initially adopted when she was just a filly over 10 years ago. She was returned recently due to no fault of her own and has been getting used to being back at Longmeadow!
After her return, Jazzy was evaluated by our trainers. After a quick evaluation, they came to believe that Jazzy had extensive history with groundwork. She was very intelligent and picked up on cues quickly! She has not been started under saddle, so she will require a professional trainer to aid in any future training under saddle.
This mare is full of potential! She is very smart and we believe with her history of groundwork, she could be started and progress in no time! Because Jazzy can be nervous and sensitive at times, we believe she would do best with a strong intermediate to advanced rider and/or handler to help her gain more confidence and continue her training. She is not a suitable horse for a beginner.
This Paso Fino loves to eat and will require a grazing muzzle if not kept on a dry lot in her future home. We believe Jazzy would make a loyal companion to someone willing to put in that work and effort to gain her trust and make her the best mare she could be.
Adoption Fee: $600 Height: 14.2hh Maximum Carrying Weight (includes tack and rider): 180lbs
