My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a sweet cat who needs a foster home while he recovers from a medical condition. He will require a calm and comfortable environment where he can rest and heal until he is medically cleared.

Foster Reason: conjunctivitis OD & obesity

FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not highly contagious. It is primarily transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds where saliva from an infected cat enters the bloodstream. As such, it poses minimal risk of transmission to other cats that do not engage in aggressive behavior. The virus is not contagious to humans or non-feline animals

Foster Time Frame: 2+ Weeks
Foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.

Foster Care Plan: She will have a medical consult upon pickup and the Operation Kindness Foster Team will supply all items necessary for a successful foster journey.

Foster to Adopt Program:
Charlie is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
