Eunice is a 9-year-old, 21-pound female dachshund mix from Alabama.
She's a sweet and mellow pup who loves to cuddle. She doesn't bark at all, but has her own funny little opera going - it truly feels like she sings sometimes! She will whine dramatically if you try to move her when she's settled somewhere cozily.
Eunice walks very well on leash, mostly potty trained outside and fully on pee pads. She's so long that she's not the best at going down a flight of stairs, but is fine going up them.
She would be happy in most homes where can get snuggles. She just ignores her current small foster doggy siblings, so we think she'd be fine with dogs her size or smaller. We haven't seen her around cats.
Vaccinated for DHPP, rabies, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention, next round due May 12.
To apply for Eunice, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue.
