My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little reddish brown Lab mix girl is called Brown Sugar and she is definitely ready to make your life sweeter if you bring her home.   We are asking for help to foster this girl so she doesn’t have to sit in a dark and depressing small shelter in rural Tennessee.  She is a rare find and we think she is 6 months old and is only 30 pounds with perhaps final adult size of 40 pounds.  She is a beauty and we love her pretty face and unique shape to her ears that are still deciding what they want to do in life….stand up or flop over?  She is such a calm puppy which you never hear.  Puppy?  Calm?  How does that go together at such a young age?  Well this girl is a lover and a belly rubber.  She rolls over and gladly offer you the privilege to rub her tummy as she rolls her eyes in the great feeling.   Such a shame for a puppy to have spent days and weeks in a prison of boredom and no love at her former shelter.  Please help us get her a home.   Are you available?  We are here to help you and Brown Sugar become friends and forever family.   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you can help !!!!!

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
