My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casper is a sweet, loving boy who wants to be with you as much as possible. Born in January 2021 he weighs about 55 pounds. He is friendly with people and eager to please. He is good on a leash and loves to go for long walks. He is happy as long as he is with you. He is an affectionate fellow and is happy to sit in your lap if you want him to. As long as he is loved, he is happy to stay home with you. However, he is an escape artist so requires a secure environment if you plan on leaving him alone for long periods of time. With his abandonment issues, he suffers from some separation anxiety. Casper wants to be a full time companion. He is loyal and eager to have a person to worship who will appreciate his dedication and love.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
