🌟 Skid 🌟
Skid is a male, possibly Dutch Shepherd/Plott Hound mix. and just turned a year old. He came into the shelter of July 2023 as a puppy and deserves more than life in a shelter. Skid does well with other dogs. He has been to multiple public events and seems to do well with children.
He loves people as well and walks well on a leash. Can be a tad shy at first, but warms up quickly. He loves to take toys into his dog house in his kennel and play with them. Walks well on a leash. Skid is around 50-55 pounds.
He was just professionally groomed and did a great job!

We adopt nationwide as long as you come to the animal shelter to adopt the dog. You can submit an application first or visit the shelter first, whichever is better for you. An adoption contract must be signed and adoption fee must be paid.

We have a supporting 501C3 non-profit, Lucky Paws Doghouse Inc, that helps with the spay/neuter and vaccination of all dogs at the shelter; the Venmo donation link on this page goes toward the 501C3.
