**Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet.

Fun bio: I’m Elmo, a red nose pit mix with a heart of gold, a huge smile, and a ray-of-sunshine personality. In fact, Walking on Sunshine should be my theme song. I was in the shelter for a long time, so I am still working on my house manners and getting used to all the things that happen in a house but I’m really smart, pick up on training quickly (though I could definitely use more training!), and I’m so happy all the time. I can be a little shy when I meet new people but once I know you, you’ll get all the love and doggie kisses you can handle. I have four doggie siblings and three human kid siblings in my foster home, and I love them all. Sometimes I love them a little too much and don’t always understand when they don’t want to play. There are no cats in my foster home but the people at the shelter said that I’m good with cats. I have lots of puppy energy and would love an active home and a doggie companion to run and play with.
