Topaz!

Sweet Topaz is actually a Torbico - a calico/tabby mixture with tabby markings among her calico colors, about 2 years old. 

Topaz is timid, but gentle, sweet, trusting and affectionate—but with limits! 

She and 3 year old India (her mom-cat) were being thrown out of their home into the bitter cold winter outside (owner didn't want them anymore - an example of the abuse & mistreatment they had been subjected to) when they were rescued and became Purrfect Friends kitties. Sadly, they weren't treated very kindly - they have some fearful behaviors - but it makes you want to make it up to them by loving them evcn more .  .  .

She's been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to start a new life in a new forever home. 

** SPECIAL NEEDS**  Topaz has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and needs to be an only kitty or live with other FeLV+ cats.  

· FeLV is a retrovirus that compromises a cat’s immune system.

· FeLV is a feline-only virus that cannot be transmitted to humans (but is contagious to other cats).

· Cats who test positive for FeLV can live for many years without serious symptoms, (although with weakened immune systems, they can get sick with normal cat illnesses & have a harder time to recover; and may not live as long as cats without this virus.

Adoption fee ($60.00) includes Spay or Neuter, vaccinations, combo-tested - for FeLV & FIV, and micro-chipped.
