My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cirrus! This lovable 1-year-old pit mix joined Duck Team 6 earlier this year after being rescued near the McKinney airport. Now fully vetted, neutered, and professionally trained, Cirrus is eager to find his forever home.

At about 40 pounds, he’s on the smaller side but big on affection. Cirrus enjoys daily walks, playful yard time with his five furry foster siblings, and cuddles with his foster mom.

He's great with people and kids, he's crate-trained and potty-trained. Ready to lounge or play, Cirrus is the perfect companion waiting to fill your home with love and happiness.

More about this rescue

Our niche is rescuing elusive dogs who have been living on the streets of Dallas, Tx. We spend days, weeks and sometimes months trying to catch a certain dog. The dogs then move into loving foster homes so they can be part of a family and learn more about home life. We have found that these dogs are extremely resilient and quickly adapt to life off the streets and make great additions to a family!

The dogs are vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered and heartworm tested (and treated if positive). We spend a lot of time and energy getting these dogs off the streets so are very diligent in who they go to. We want to make sure it's going to be the ideal fit for both the adopter and the dog. We help them find the loving home they deserved all along! Please visit our facebook page to follow more of our adventures: www.facebook.com/duckteam6
